Marketing Internship

Create real marketing. Learn directly from company leadership. Build a portfolio you’re proud to show.
Thayer Design Build is an award-winning residential remodeling company seeking motivated, high-performing students who take pride in their work, follow through, and welcome feedback.
Work directly with our company president and marketing director, receiving weekly coaching and learning why marketing decisions are made. With our new Discovery Center showroom and a growing marketing program, you’ll develop your skills through real projects for a respected local company.
Explore a focus that fits your strengths:
- Events and Community Marketing: Help promote Discovery Center events, coordinate guests, and evaluate results.
- Photography, Video and Social Media: Capture projects and team stories, create engaging posts, and build a photo and video collection.
- Content, Email and Website Marketing: Develop blogs, newsletters, and project features while organizing marketing assets.
Each internship will have a defined project and learning goals. Leave with work you can show future employers, whether that’s an event campaign, a collection of project videos, or published articles.
Build skills in marketing and AI
Learn to use AI tools for brainstorming, research, drafting, and refining content while developing the judgment to produce accurate, original work.
You’ll learn to take a project from idea through execution, improve through direct feedback, and assess its results. Strong performance can also earn a professional reference.
Who will thrive here
You take initiative, keep your commitments, and care about the details. You’re eager to improve and work well with others. Professional experience isn’t required.
